Product Description

SINGLE PHASE POWER FACTOR PANEL

RuncoN single-phase power factor (PF) panel improves energy efficiency in

systems by automatically adding capacitors to correct low PF, reducing reactive power, and lowering electricity bills. These panels commonly use automatic controllers to monitor loads, with typical capacities ranging from 0.25kVAr to over 20kVAr, suitable for residential, commercial, or small industrial setups.

Key Aspects of Single-Phase PF Panels:

  • Automatic Correction: The panel (APFC) features a relay that monitors power consumption and switches steps to maintain an optimal power factor close to 1.0, often catering to fluctuating loads.
  • Key Components: Typically includes a controller, shunt capacitors, contactors, protection devices (MCBs), and a digital display.
  • Benefits: Reduces electricity bills (by eliminating penalties), improves voltage levels, and enhances equipment longevity by decreasing heat generated by reactive current.
  • Installation: Usually wall-mounted for easy installation in existing single-phase electrical systems.
  • Specifications: Commonly operate at

AC, 50Hz, with varying steps (e.g., 4, 12 steps) and current ratings that can go up to hundreds of amps.

These panels are vital in applications with high inductive loads, such as small motors, pumps, and office equipment, aiding in significant energy savings
