MCC PANEL

RuncoN Motor Control Center (MCC) Panel is an assembly designed to control, manage, and protect multiple electric motors in a centralized location. These panels are widely used in industrial and commercial applications where numerous motors are operated.


Main Components

  1. Circuit Breakers or Fuses: Protect motors from overcurrent and short circuits.
  2. Contactors: Control the starting and stopping of motors.
  3. Overload Relays: Protect motors from overheating due to overload conditions.
  4. Soft Starters (Optional): Reduce inrush current during motor startup.
  5. Variable Frequency Drives / VFDs (Optional): Provide speed control for motors.
  6. Control Transformers: Provide low voltage for control circuits.
  7. Push Buttons and Selector Switches: Manual control interfaces.
  8. Indicator Lamps and Meters: Provide operational status and measurements.
  9. Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs): For automation and integration into larger systems.

Construction

  1. Enclosure: Made of sheet metal or stainless steel. Available in various IP ratings (e.g., IP54, IP65) for protection against dust, water, and other environmental factors.
  2. Sections or Compartments: Each motor or motor group has its dedicated compartment or module for ease of maintenance.
  3. Busbars: Distribute power to individual motor feeders within the panel.
  4. Wiring and Terminals: Organized for easy troubleshooting and future expansions.
