AMF PANEL
RuncoN AMF Panel (Automatic Mains Failure Panel) is a type of electrical control panel designed to automatically manage the power supply between a mains (utility) power source and a backup generator during a power outage. It ensures an uninterrupted power supply by seamlessly switching between these sources.
Key Features of an AMF Panel
- Automatic Power Source Switching: Monitors the mains supply and initiates the generator when the mains power fails. Automatically switches back to the mains supply once it is restored.
- Generator Control: Starts and stops the generator as required. Monitors generator performance including voltage, frequency, and fuel levels.
- Changeover Mechanism: Ensures smooth and safe transfer of load between the mains and generator.
- Protection Devices: Overload, short-circuit, and phase-failure protection for both the generator and mains supply.
- Control and Display Panel: Displays parameters such as voltage, current, frequency, and status of mains/generator. Includes alarms for system faults or fuel issues.
