Fan Capacitor

RuncoN Fan Capacitor
🌀
FAN CAPACITOR Ceiling · Table · Pedestal Fans

RuncoN fan capacitor is used in ceiling fans, table fans, pedestal fans, and other AC-powered fans. Its primary role is to help the fan motor start and run efficiently by creating a phase shift in the power supply, which generates the necessary torque for operation.

  • 1.
Starting the Motor: Helps the fan motor overcome inertia and begin rotating by supplying additional starting torque.
  • 2.
Running the Motor: Enhances motor performance by maintaining a steady phase difference between electrical windings, improving efficiency and speed.
Available MFD (µf) Values

⚙️
MOTOR CAPACITOR Run Capacitor · 5–72 µF

RuncoN motor capacitor is an electrical device used with electric motors to improve performance, efficiency, and reliability. It stores and releases electrical energy to stabilize and optimize motor operation — commonly used in single-phase motors.

Motor Run Capacitor
Improves the motor's efficiency and running performance. Remains connected while the motor is running. Typically has lower capacitance values (5–72 µF). Rated for continuous operation and designed to handle lower current compared to start capacitors.
Available MFD (µf) Values
5.00 µf 6.00 µf 8.00 µf 10.00 µf 12.50 µf 15.00 µf 20.00 µf 25.00 µf 30.00 µf 36.00 µf 40.00 µf 45.00 µf 50.00 µf 60.00 µf 72.00 µf

Motor Start Capacitor

RuncoN Motor Start Capacitor
🔋
MOTOR START CAPACITOR 40–500 µF · Short Duty Cycle

RuncoN motor start capacitor is used in single-phase induction motors to provide an extra boost of starting torque. It temporarily increases the phase difference between motor windings, allowing the motor to overcome initial inertia and start rotating efficiently.

  • 1.
High Capacitance: Typically ranges from 40 µF to 500 µF, depending on motor size and application.
  • 2.
Voltage Rating: Usually between 220 VAC to 240 VAC, matching or exceeding the motor's operating voltage.
  • 3.
Temporary Operation: Connected only during startup and disconnected once the motor reaches 70–80% of rated speed.
  • 4.
Built for Short-Duty Cycles: Designed for brief usage during each startup only.
Available MFD (µf) Ranges
40×60 µf 60×80 µf 80×100 µf 100×120 µf 120×150 µf 150×200 µf 200×250 µf 250×300 µf 300×350 µf

Submersible Capacitor

RuncoN Submersible Capacitor
💧
SUBMERSIBLE CAPACITOR Pump Motors · Submerged Systems

RuncoN submersible capacitor is specifically designed for use with submersible pump motors and other submerged electrical systems. Built to operate in environments exposed to moisture, pressure, and varying temperatures — ensuring reliability and long-term performance.

  • 1.
Starting the Motor: Provides the necessary starting torque for single-phase submersible motors.
  • 2.
Improving Efficiency: Optimizes motor performance by maintaining the power factor.
  • 3.
Stable Operation: Ensures smooth motor operation by stabilizing voltage and current flow.
Start Capacitors
Temporarily connected during startup. Higher capacitance (100–500 µF). Disconnected once motor reaches operating speed.
Run Capacitors
Stays connected during motor operation. Lower capacitance (5–72 µF). Improves efficiency and ensures steady operation.
Available MFD (µf) Values
25.00 µf 36.00 µf 50.00 µf 72.00 µf

Single Phase kVAR Capacitor

RuncoN Single Phase kVAR Capacitor
SINGLE PHASE kVAR CAPACITOR Reactive Power Compensation

In electrical systems, kVAR (kilovolt-amperes reactive) is a unit of reactive power. Reactive power exists in AC systems due to inductive or capacitive loads, causing current and voltage to go out of phase. RuncoN single phase kVAR capacitors are used for power factor correction and reactive power compensation.

Reactive Power Formula — Single Phase
Q = V × I × sin(φ) / 1000
Q = Reactive power (kVAR)    V = Voltage (volts)    I = Current (amps)    φ = Phase angle    sin(φ) = √(1 − PF²)
Example: Voltage = 230V, Current = 10A, Power Factor = 0.8
sin(φ) = √(1 − 0.8²) = 0.6
Q = (230 × 10 × 0.6) / 1000 = 1.38 kVAR
Available kVAR Range
0.25 kVAR 0.50 kVAR 1 kVAR 2 kVAR 3 kVAR 4 kVAR 5 kVAR
